Nothing planned during the day. The Grandview Alumni/Homecoming Game is at 7:30PM. Persons over 65 are admitted free. Traditionally those who come to that meet afterwards at The Knotty Pine Restaurant just a few blocks west on Third Ave.
You might contact people in advance to form a group for dinner. (See restaurants.) A group is already scheduled for 6PM Friday at Spagio's, an upscale restaurant with a great wine list. To join this group, contact Carolyn Jensen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Saturday, October 132:00PM – 3:30pm we will gather at the high school to hear a history of Grandview and Marble Cliff communities and to tour the high school.
Cost for 1957 Class member is $57.00 (includes meal, class picture and booklet); guest, $35.00. Send your payment to Mardelle Grimm, 2693 Dry Run Road, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601-9443. Add a note if you have special dietary needs, such as salt free, gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan, or need transportation or map. Please respond as soon as possible, not later than September 15, 2007. If you are unable to attend the dinner but would like a class picture ($15) and/or a booklet ($10), send a note and payment to Mardelle at the above address. In addition to any other notes, an indication of which of the events you expect to attend would be appreciated.
If you are not sure what to do between 3:30pm and 6pm, you may hang out at one of the restaurants or coffee houses on Grandview Ave. If you are a walker, you might want to walk to your old house and then on to Our Lady of Victory, with a stop on Grandview Ave. Or, if you just want to sit and relax, Carolyn Jensen’s home will be available during that time. Maps available at the high school tour.
