Carol Anne Linzell of Powell, OH passed away peacefully on August 8, 2018 due to complications from a stroke. She is survived by Charles, her husband of 54 years; sons, Dan (Cindy) of Lincoln, NE, Sam (Holly) of Upper Arlington; daughter, Becky of Columbus; and grandchildren Kelsey, Audrey, Anna, Julia and Charlie. A graduate from Ohio State in education, Carol spent her early years teaching elementary school in numerous cities before returning to Columbus to raise her family. Carol was a caring wife, loving mother and wonderful grandmother. She enjoyed crosswords, knitting, sewing Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren, summers at Lakeside, OH and reminding her family that "Growing old ain't for sissies." A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
